Postdoctoral position in Angers ⚠ [OFFER EXPIRED]

We are inviting applications for a 2-year postdoctoral position at the University of Angers, France, starting September 1, 2025 (flexible). Suitable candidates are early career researchers in derived algebraic geometry closely related to one of the axes of the ANR NeLaSt2 project, that is to say:

In addition to advancing in their own research, the successful candidate is expected to participate in the activities of this project.

Salary, teaching, and language

The net pay (after the deduction of social contributions, including health coverage and pension contributions, but not income taxes) is approximately 2400 euros/month. No teaching duties will be imposed on the successful candidate and mastery of the French language is not a requirement. As a member of the ANR NeLaSt2 project, the successful candidate will have access to some travel funding.

Application procedure

Selection will be based on the scientific excellence of the candidate, on the quality of the proposed research project, and on the compatibility with the topics of this ANR NeLaSt2 grant. Applicants should have defended their Ph.D. prior to the start of the contract.
