Location of the Conference

The conference will take place at the University of Angers, at the campus of the Science Faculty.

Angers, the capital of the Anjou and gateway to the Loire Valley, a region of rivers and castles, is on the route south from Paris (2h30 by motorway and 1h30 by high-speed train) and is not far to the Atlantic (1h by car). It is a medieval town which houses one of the Wonders of the Ancient World: the Tapestries of the Apocalypse (XIVth century).

Angers is the 16th largest town in France and has developed a flourishing business tourism; it offers more than 1800 hotel rooms. It has a notably young population with more than 30,000 students. The University of Angers benefits from a recent infrastructure, modern and of high quality. The Science Faculty is only 15 minutes drive from the city center. It is equipped with large multimedia conference rooms and its International Residence offers a number of available rooms.
